A while back, I took to the task of disassembling all of the assorted electronics I'd been hanging on to. It's... therapeutic, not to mention there are neat parts inside that I wanted to recycle in my own way. The circuit board here comes from an old cell phone, hence the idea that it might be a particularly fashionable universal translator, and the rectangular partially raw labradorite cabochon has been sitting around unused for long enough. It was perfect for the idea, offset and a little haphazard, but I can absolutely assure it was a long, long process of bending decently heavy wire into proper shapes to keep everything sturdy.

I really enjoy the results, and look forward to using other shiny neat things that I have savagely removed from old electronics.
