Eravin

Eravin

I have come to the belief that Eravin exists simply to be adored. It was clear by the way he stared at me late one night, begging me to finish wiring his tail and feet so he could be even more adorable as he stared up at me with those green eyes... He's a hard fella to resist, I tell you. Beware being talked out of sweets with this one.

Lull between projects. So what do I do? Wear my wrist down further. *grin* Ah, it was worth it.

Elia

Elia

She's very young and rather small even for her age, but don't take her for granted. She has perfected the "head tilt and pleading eyes", by which she acquires all of the tasty treats she desires. Don't worry, though. She's very kind-hearted and will certainly share.

Poor girl waited an awfully long time to be done. I was focused on convention stuff and "another insane bead project" that will appear in public... whenever it's done. Anyway. She's actually a magnificently VIBRANT red-orange and shimmery gold with red Swarovski crystals, but... that doesn't always seem to be clear in the pictures.

Dragon Maleficent

Dragon Maleficent

She was intended for a contest, but details of that got foiled in various ways, various times and... well, she's been sitting, waiting for her chance. The other day I walked in the room and noticed her and thought, "No. She needs the world to see her now. And maybe someone will really want to cherish her in the way she deserves."

I'm proud of her, besides. I always did love Maleficent, and despite how I have completely taken it upon myself to forget what a horrible experience her boss fight in Kingdom Hearts was, it was also one of those fun "two worlds meeting" things. Hence, awesome shininess!

Dragon Earring Commission for DD

Dragon Earring Commission for DD

Baby dragon earrings come in clip-on, too! Heh. The colors were requested and approved, and I got to work. These little lovelies are the result. And I should probably not mention that they remind me of candy canes. Anyway, these turned out very well and I really hope you're happy with them, D.D.

Dragon Earring Commission for C

Dragon Earring Commission for C

They're adorable little things. I have no idea why the turquoise/aqua blue decides to wash out on almost every picture, but it's quite vibrant in person. ...Or in dragon. ...Or in... dragon-person. In... yeah.

Dias

Dias

So this would be a prototype attempt at a dragon bracelet (and a legless version, at that). I just wanted to test something. And I rather liked the idea of the hooking mechanism being both visible, and also part of the critter. He works quite well, actually, and I'm testing out exactly how he works before I try again. I do think the next one with have a wire tail (for neatness alone, really) and I'll be experimenting with wire legs and feet... well, we'll see.

Also. For the most part, Dias is copper--but there are subtle gold diamonds spiraling around him. The gold explodes in the tail so it's a bit more noticeable, but it's really hard to photograph.

Dasra

Dasra

So perhaps I went a bit overboard in terms of sparkly... but I can't find it in myself to apologize. I happened to have Swarovski crystals that perfectly matched Dasra's color scheme, and so... well. SHINY.

Dasra is an aquatic dragon, spending most of his days slithering along the sands on the bottom of the ocean and enjoying a good game of tag with the locals. Unfortunately none of them really appreciate his sense of humor; when he says the loser will be eaten, he's not joking. He's just grinning. Widely. Ah well.

Also, it is enormously hard to tell, but he has two yellow ridges above his green eyes. I swear sometimes I hear my camera laughing at me.

Clyde

Clyde

I like Clyde. Clyde is an okay guy. I bet you'd like him to if you took the time to sit down and talk to him. Sure he looks all mean and dangerous, but do you know how soft he really is when you pet his spikes? Do you know he likes a little scratch behind the ear? Clyde is awesome.

I know, he's weird. And different. And bigger and heavier than all the others, more of a bangle than a bracelet... but he is cool. The "spikes" are attached in such a way that they bend really easily so there's not really a chance of getting poked with them, and his fingers are free to dangle at will. The catch is a little tricky, but I think people will get it after a try or so.
